A BLUE TRANSFER LINE FOR THE METHANOL PLANT

A blue Transfer Line for the Methanol plant

Tubital S.R.L. has recently completed the manufacturing of N.2 Transfer Lines with a diameter of 2 m. They have been designed and fabricated for the methanol plant Methanex Geismar 3 in Louisiana, USA which has a production capacity of almost 1.8 million tonnes.

Transfer Line uses a combination of SA 387M Gr.11 CI.2 / SA 516M Gr. 485. Each line has a lenght of 10 m and weighs 40 t.
In addition, they have an eye-catching blue thermosensitive painting that warns promptly regarding any change on the internal temperature which allows to have a high-quality guarantee.

Furthermore, Transfer Lines have been certified in accordance with ASME, The American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
